Aldinga Mini Camp Information

Mini Camp @ Aldinga
www.aldingaholiday.com.au

Camp Aldinga is 45 kms south of Adelaide.

The camp is a 15 minute walk to the superb coastal environment of Aldinga Beach with safe swimming at the 7 km long sandy beach.

Camp Aldinga offers access to 250 hectares of heritage listed bushland with significant Aboriginal heritage sites. Camp Aldinga has two separate accommodation centres.

Every year, Active Education receives many phone calls from small schools / groups who are unable to book into most campsites because they do not have enough students to meet minimum booking requirements. Back in 2004 in response to this need, Camp Aldinga built a fully self contained Mini Camp which will accommodate up to 43 people. Whilst there will usually be another group booked into the main camp (well away from the mini camp), your program, catering and time table will be run as a completely separate camp and the program will be organised to ensure that your students have sole access to the facilities (pool, playground etc) during down times. As mentioned, the building is fully self-contained, with kitchen/dining facilities, ablutions, meeting and activity areas all in the same building as the accommodation. This makes it an ideal option for Junior Primary groups on their first camp, or the school choir, soccer team or Year 12s on retreat.
