Not surprisingly our physical state plays a major role in the way we feel psychologically, the way we live, learn and relate to others. It is an underpinning principle in our ability to grow and flourish.
This practical module looks at the importance of good diet and nutrition, the dangers of dieting and unrealistic body images and the power of exercise to reach one’s optimum.

In line with Hatties student self assessment recommendations students work collaboratively to create a list of personalised well being indicators identifying areas of concern and strategies to support growth.
Students work collaboratively to devise their personal wellbeing indicator continuum. Through small group discussions students explore the concepts of self esteem, body image, sleep patterns, nutrition and exercise. Strategies for positive physical and emotional wellbeing are explored.
